On October 14, 2009, Moca was featured on the front page of the Business section of the Boston Globe in an article about cell phone applications that are changing the world.

Moca in Mexico

We travelled to Mexico in Spring 2009 to evaluate how well Moca would be received. The results were overwhelmingly positive. Here, Moca visits Catalina MusiƱo Martinez, a health promoter from Santa Cruz.

Partner Organizations

The MIT Nextlab Initiative has been very generous in supporting Moca's efforts. Originating in part out of MIT's Nextlab class, Moca has received funding and significant support from Nextlab.

We have recently partnered with the following universities and organizations to serve as local partners in upcoming Moca deploys. We are planning on an initial pilot test in the Philippines during Spring/Summer, 2009.
